Galaxie 500はファーストが一番好き。一番聴いたのはサードかもしれない（し、セカンドはもちろん大好きだ）けど、TugboatとDon’t Let Our Youth Go to Wasteはバカみたいに聴いてた。レコードジャケがすごい汚れてる…。加藤ドラム、てつベースで３ピースのDon’t Let Our Youth Go to Wasteのカヴァーもしました。
いやー、懐かしい。結構いいじゃん。このライヴ2009年か。Kramer元気かな。空と時間軸のセッションが2006年だから（もう！まだ？）10年も経つのか。初めてレコーディングでGalaxie 500の全作品のプロデュースをしていた、（個人的に超超超憧れていた）Kramerが日本に（うちに泊まりこみで）来てくれて、ほぼファーストテイクで、GOK Soundでミックスまで全部アナログでやってくれたのは忘れられません。マスターテープがCDでもDATでもなくアナログテープで部屋の、資料箱的な場所に保存されてます。今思い返すと、本当奇跡みたいな出来事でした。このマスターテープを、いつかそのままの形で、アナログ12″でリリースしたいです。
空と時間軸やin vain you areなどKramerとのセッションの時ドラムを叩いていたガンビーと、今度Pragmaで一緒にライヴやろうって話してるんです。色々あったけど、そんな話がまたできる感じになってて嬉しいです。近々やれる機会があると思うので、それはそれでまた告知します。（この映像はガンビーではなく、現「ギター」のかとちゃんが何故かドラムを叩いてる映像です、念のため）。
I love the 1st album of Galaxie 500 a lot. Maybe I listened to the 3rd one the most (of course I have the 2nd one and love it) but I was caught in the loop with Tugboat and the Modern Lovers cover, “Don’t Let Our Youth Go to Waste”. We did a “cover of the cover” back in 2009 (the youtube vid up above). Sounds pretty good 
I will never forget Kramer (producer of all Glaxie 500 recordings) coming to Japan for our first session of Caucus recording of “Sky and the Time Axis”. It was back 10 years ago! We can’t thank him more than enough to have him help us coming to Japan just for our first recording session! He was kind enough to do our 1st full album producing as well. It’s a good memory that we had our first session at GOK Sound with all analogue equipments; Analogue Tapes, Analogue Mixer, with no ProTools at all. The master tape lays in my box right there, which would sound gorgeous if I had a player. We should make some 12″ someday with this master tape in the near future if possible…
