Music Videoも儚く際どく美しく、それぞれ素晴らしいのでぜひ。イスラエルのアーティストという僕の視点があるからかも知れませんが、歌詞の内容もギリギリの暗喩のような含みを持つように感じました。僕は歌詞を訳すときにアーティストの言葉をなるべく忠実に表現したいと思っていて、慣用句をあえて直訳っぽくすることが多いんですが、今回は特にいろいろと悩みました。アルバムを通して晩夏・初秋に聴き入るにぴったりな温度感にも感じました。おすすめです。
I did the lyric translation for Garden City Movement “Move On”. The music video is as well beautiful, and leave us with somewhat kind of a transient feeling. Maybe it is just because I see them as an artist from Israel, I felt that the lyrics include many metaphor in their expressions. When I do lyric translations, in order to express the words more directly how the artists did, I often do “word‐for‐word translation” for an idiomatic phrase on purpose to include more meanings to it. In this album, it was pretty hard but interesting to decide in which way I should translate, word-for-word and/or paraphrasing. I feel the temperature of this album matching very well to the late summer / early autumn season. Recommended!
来週、再来週にもPlancha作品で対訳したものがリリースされるようなので、また発売になりましたら紹介します。相変わらずの良作ばかりです。レーベル買い推奨いたします。
I have more Plancha releases coming up which I did lyric translations. Will notify when there is a release. The other releases are as great as always. I would even recommend buying it by the label.

ひっそりと次回のライヴがアップデートされております。9/16 CAUCUSとしては初の渋谷ルビールームにて、ニュージーランドのエクスペリメンタル・サイケバンド「The Renderers」来日公演に出演します。
秋のアルバムリリースに向けてちょっとずつ新曲のライヴアレンジも進めております。死んだ僕の彼女企画では3曲（Hello, What Have You Done, Hushed）、自主企画では4曲（前回演奏したものに加えShy Girl）と増やしていて、次はまた違う新曲をお披露目できたらと思っています。
なかなかの小箱で臨場感あると思うので、この日は生音ガツーンとしたCAUCUSを是非。特にドラムとか気持ちがいいと思います。ちょっとまだ先になりますが、もしよろしければ遊びに来て下さいー。

A show has been updated silently… On Sept 16th, we will be playing an act with New Zealands’ experimantal phychedelic band “The Renderers” at Shibuya Rubyroom.
We are also planning on playing other new songs from the upcoming album. We played 3 songs on My Dead Girlfriend organized show (Hello, What Have You Done, Hushed), and 4 on our self organized show (3 songs mentioned before + Shy Girl). In the next show, hopefully we would be able to play some other new songs as well.
Rubyroom is a pretty small venue, so the show should sound very “live”, compared to other shows, especially the drum sound. Hope you can make it.

ディスクユニオンで配布のシューゲ冊子に参加しました。yngwの一枚はSwirliesの長いタイトルの2nd。Yume Bitsuのauspicious windと迷って、ユメビツをシューゲと呼ぶべきか悩み、こちらに。頭おかしくなる変態名盤です。アルバムじゃなくて、シングルってことならDidn’t Understandにしてたかも。Swirlies最高。公式に全曲オンラインで無料公開されています。

I joined in selecting my best “Shoegazer” album for a free zine published by disk union in Japan. I came up selecting Swirlies’ long titled second album that makes you dance in your head. It was tough to decide between Yume Bitsu / auspicious wind but I wasn’t sure if everyone would agree of me saying Yume Bitsu as Shoegazer. Didn’t Understand maybe the one if I was asked for a single. Swirlies are great.
